Individual Therapy

The focus in individual therapy is helping you learn more about yourself and relational challenges so that you can experience the healing and growth you seek. We can't be who we are without the systems and people around us. Together, we will work to identify patterns that you developed as a means of survival that may be inhibiting you from growth or limiting your potential. We will find strategies to assist you in improving emotional regulation and interrupt patterns that are no longer serving you, while resolving emotional pain and suffering.

Talk therapy or insight oriented therapies can be very helpful in assisting you to build awareness and better understand why you do the things that you do. Often times, client’s tell me that they have knowledge of the insights they have gained but there is something that prevents them from experiencing relief from their experience. Approaches like EMDR and IFS help to integrate the knowledge with the felt experience to gain an adaptive way of responding. It is my hope to partner with you on this process.
